At Least in the City Someone Would Hear Me Scream: Misadventures in Search of the Simple LifeAt Least in the City Someone Would Hear Me Scream: Misadventures in Search of the Simple Life by Wade Rouse

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After my last book, I needed a good laugh and Wade Rouse delivered! HH found me tucked into a blanket after the boys went to bed, grinning from ear to ear on three nights in a row. Occasionally, I would bust out belly laughing. At least twice, found myself in tears…the good kind.

Wade Rouse and his Michigan misadventures are a welcome distraction and a good reminder that some times you have to go way out of your comfort-zone to get comfortable again. This is not heavy lifting (at times, it goes a little too far to be believeable), but it was a great read none the less.
